It is the lighting of a fire." —William Butler Yeats home | curriculum Beginning in 2008, Stone Circle School has formally merged with the Ithaca Waldorf Initiative, creating the Ithaca Children's School, an organization that combines the best of both former organizations. The organization now offers Waldorf-inspired programs for ages birth through sixth grade, and the elementary school program remains at what is now called "the Stone Circle Campus," housed in several buildings on the Foundation of Light grounds in the Ellis Hollow neighborhood—including the old one-room schoolhouse that had housed Stone Circle School's elementary grades previously.
